Student Council students have helped to facilitate a fun and fabulous Field Day this year! We will be enjoying fun games outside on Tuesday 5/30/2023 as our school year comes to a close.
Please have students come prepared to have fun in the sun & possibly get wet. Students can bring sunblock, comfortable shoes and a change of clothes (encouraged) if they would like.
We are hoping that all students will enjoy this fun and exciting event!
Wednesday, May 31st, will be minimum day for all students. Thursday, June 1st, is the last day of school and will be a minimum day for all students. Release time for students will be as follows: Grades TK-3rd releases at 1:00 p.m., Grades 4th-8th releases at 1:30 p.m.
School will be closed on Monday, May 29th, in honor of the Memorial Day holiday. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday. Memorial Day is for honoring and mourning our U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. Lucerne Elementary School extends gratitude to our military personnel for their service.

Lucerne Elementary students may now sign-up for a week-long Tie Dye and Art Camp. The camp will run from 3:00-4:30pm from May 22-May 26. Each student will create and design their own t-shirt. Applications may be picked up in the school office and are due by Thursday, May 18th.
Wednesday, May 3rd is a minimum day for all Lucerne Elementary School students. Students in grades TK-3rd release at 1:00pm. Students in grades 4th-8th release at 1:30pm.
Lucerne Elementary transitional kindergarten students are invited to sign-up for a two week "All Kids Bike" camp after school. The camp will be the weeks of May 8th-May 11th and May 15th-May 18th from 1:30-2:20pm. The camp will be focusing on learning the fundamentals of safe bicycle riding. Students will be using strider bikes to learn to balance and will build their way up to using the pedals. Helmets and bikes are provided for students to use during the camp. Applications are due Wednesday, May 3rd and are available in the school office.
Lucerne Elementary students in grades 5th-8th are invited to sign-up for a two week songwriting camp after school. The camp will be the weeks of May 8th-May 11th and May 15th-May 18th from 3:00-4:30pm. The camp will be focusing on exploring your creativity through songwriting. Applications are due Wednesday, May 3rd and are available in the school office.
La Escuela Primaria Lucerne llevará a cabo su Casa Abierta Anual, exhibición de arte y feria del libro mañana, miércoles 19 de abril por la noche, de 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 pm. Open House will be rescheduled for Mrs. Meader’s 7th grade class. In order to celebrate, their art will be displayed in the cafeteria during the Open House scheduled for this Wednesday at 5:30pm.
An additional Open House will be scheduled for our 7th graders once Mrs. Meader has returned. We look forward to having you visit and enjoy your student’s work.
