Lucerne Elementary School District will be offering ELOP camps, afterschool program and intercession camps in the 2024/2025 school year. If your student is interested in joining a camp and is enrolled at Lucerne Elementary School, you may fill out the ELOP enrollment form to be added to the ELOP list.. We offer several fun afterschool camps and programs throughout the school year (tie-dye, bikes, art, science, robots, music, vocal, and many more!) We would love to have your student take part in our fun and educational camps and programs ELOP will be offering in the 2024/2025 school year! The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides funding for afterschool l enrichment programs . Afterschool programs operate from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. each day school is in session. Extended Learning Enrichment Camps are offered throughout the school year and summer school expanded care is offered after the summer school day has ended.
Applications for the 2024/2025 ELOP afterschool program are now being accepted. Applications are available in the school office . The deadline to apply is Friday, June 21, 2024. Space is limited and spots fill up quickly, so get your application in as soon as possible.

Lucerne Elementary would like to thank Nancy Haley for her generous donation of supply filled backpacks to the students of our school.
Nancy Haley is a retired respiratory therapist and nurse educator with a passion for education. She has a rich history in the field of education as she helped educate the next generation of nurses at the University of Utah. Nancy has continually believed that education has a profound impact on individuals and society. She comes from a long line of educators and gets to see that generational career continue through her two granddaughters that work at Lucerne Elementary School.
On Thursday, March 7th, we will hold our 2nd trimester awards assembly. All parents, friends and community members are welcome to attend. The awards schedule is as follows: Tk-1st at 9:50am; 2nd-4th at 10:20am; 5th-8th at 9:10am.
